The railway will open for the 2015 season on Friday 1st May.
Experience the beauty of the Suir Valley from a period carriage and take in the wonderful panoramic views of the River Suir. This family friendly railway runs mostly along the picturesque banks of the River Suir offering views of the world famous Mount Congreve Gardens. This is an area rich in history and is only accessible by train.
At the train station, which is located just outside the village of Kilmeaden, a restored mark two railway carriage serves as the ticket office and shop.
Light refreshments can be purchased, with indoor and outdoor seating available at the station. All facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Kilmeadan Station is 10km from Waterford City. Take N25 towards Cork. At Carrick Road Roundabout take last exit on to R680. From Cork direction at Carrick Road Roundabout turn left on to R680. Kilmeadan Station is on the left.
